Orientation:  After 3 1/2 days of leader training, 9 team leaders were joined by 22 excited team members!  The next 3 1/2 days were filled with training (evangelism, drama, & health camp), team building activities, & worship as the teams prepared for their ministry.

Orientation ended with a time of commitment... the challenge was given to take along the important items:

  1. a blank piece of paper signed at the bottom indicating willingness for the Lord to write whatever He wants for our life,
  2. a clean, empty bucket... not just for taking a bath & washing clothes... but depicting our willingness to be emptied of ourselves and filled with the Holy Spirit,
  3. carrying a backpack with personal belongings... but even more importantly, the cross we must be willing to carry at all times,
  4. and a spiritual compass... keeping us pointed in the right direction so that all nations will be praising the one true God!

Sunday afternoon & Monday morning, teams were loaded up on a truck and headed for bus stations & boat docks... and most ultimately... the unreached & hard to reach areas of the Philippines.
