Jesus said, "Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men." Fact: 460,000 people but only 2,800 Northern Thai Christians in 26 small churches.
Fact: 78 sub-districts in the province, 55 do not have a church.
The people living in these "black" areas may never meet a Christian and learn how much God loves them. Your objective? Go into these sub-districts seeking people of peace to lead in evangelistic Bible studies. You will bring light into the darkness and become fishers of men!

Work with exploited women and children in redlight districts in northern Thailand. Build relationships, teach English, nutrition, health & beauty, etc as a means to gain access to share the Gospel. Work with an established team focused on reaching these women and children.
The most important "health" factor in this assignment is emotional and spiritual maturity. We need to carefully screen volunteers to assure they are emotionally ready to accept the challenge of working with women and children who are sexually and physically abused, neglected, abandoned and exploited. Many of the women working in some of the red-light districts are under-age. Volunteers need to be prepared to deal with emotions from witnessing "up-close" the underbelly of Thai society.
