Thailand is located in the center of the Indochinese Peninsula in Southeast Asia. Around the world, Thailand is known for its largest city, Bangkok. There is great spiritual darkness in Thailand. The Thai people have been Buddhist for thousands of years... to be Thai is to be Buddhist. Converts to Christianity face big challenges of identity and losing their culture. Thus, missionary efforts among the Thai people have been met with little visible fruit, although living publicly as a missionary in Thailand is totally accepted. The city of Bangkok is also the scene for wide-spread human trafficking and forced prostitution. Despite being against Thai law, the government turns a blind eye to it. - Pray for the Thai people to come to faith in Christ, and find new identity in Jesus. - Pray for missionaries in Thailand to endure and persevere, knowing that anything they do the Lord will use for His glory. - Pray for those caught and enslaved in human trafficking, that they will be freed and find true freedom in Jesus.
