Journeyman or ISC couple. Philippine Country Nehemiah Teams Coordinator IMB Job # 92354
The vision of Nehemiah Teams is "To lead young people to finish the Great Commission in this generation." Nehemiah Teams offer short-term mission opportunities among the unreached and hard to reach. Since 2001, over 500 students have been involved in Nehemiah Teams in 4 different countries of the Pacific Rim region. A strategy of Nehemiah Teams is to train national bodies to conduct Nehemiah Teams. There are presently 4 Nehemiah Teams franchises in the Philippines. This person (single male or couple) would assist the national franchises develop their program as well as assist with American summer teams. STATESIDE VOLUNTEER POSITIONS: The following positions are for those living in the U.S. who have a burden to live out their World Christian lifestyle by being a part of Nehemiah Teams. All of these positions are volunteer.
Habitat for Humanity Strategic "Set-up" Coordinator for Asia & Pacific:
Through correspondence (email) you will set-up partnerships between 8-member Nehemiah Teams and local Habitat for Humanity affiliates in the Asia/Pacific region. The goal is to get students connected with the needs of the "least of these" among the unreached and hard to reach.
Orphanage Teams Strategic "Set-up" Coordinator for Asia & Pacific:
Through research and correspondence you will set up partnerships between orphanage ministries and Nehemiah Teams across the Asia/Pacific region. The goal is to connect students with the needs of orphans among the unreached and hard to reach.
Regional Mobilizers
"How can they go unless they are sent?" As a regional mobilizer you will be a vital part of making sure the gospel reaches hundreds and thousands every year through Nehemiah Teams. Some of your tasks will be building relationships with college/youth ministers, attending student mission conferences, coordinating with former Nehemiah Teams members in the promotion of Nehemiah Teams summer positions. With God's leadership, you will determine your area of ministry (state, regional, specific schools or churches, etc.).
Equippers & Trainers
"How can they go unless they are sent?" As an equipper and trainer, you will be a vital part of making sure the gospel reaches hundreds and thousands each year through Nehemiah Teams. As an equipper and trainer, you will lead or help lead orientations/debriefs for American and national Nehemiah Teams in various countries across the world. These assignments will range from 1 week to 2 months. These volunteer positions are open only to former Nehemiah Teams members.
