Packing Lists....
All Nehemiah Team members will receive a duffle bag or hiking backpack to use for the summer. A few teams who are highly mobile will be provided with a hiking backpack instead of the duffle bag. A deposit/usage fee is included in your field expense budget. You will pick up your bag when you arrive at orientation and re-pack your things. There will be room to store your personal bag & extra items over the summer. This will be your checked piece of luggage. You can also have a carry-on (weighing less than 15 lbs.). Duffle bag capacity: 70 liters or 4300 cubic inches. Hiking backpack capacity: 65 liters
If you are required to bring specific equipment or asked by the supervisor to bring personal items for them, these can be packed in a 2nd piece of luggage. Good idea to pack this as a team after arriving at orientation.
