FOR ALL ASSIGNMENTS, your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams, learning the skills you need to carry out your assignment. You will then travel to the field to spend your summer carrying out the task you've prepared for. At the end of the summer, travel back to a joint debrief, sharing all that God has done. It is required that participants attend all of orientation & debrief.

Field cost: $4755 plus round trip airfare, immunizations, passport costs, required travel insurance, etc. Your team will join God's work in Hong Kong for the summer, specifically helping to build relationships and share the gospel on university campuses through English clubs, sports outreach, and any other open door you find to get to know students. Additionally, you will have opportunities to learn about ministry in Hong Kong as you work closely with members of our Hong Kong team. Our team is working to plant churches among the mandarin speakers in Hong Kong, who don't have many churches available to them in their heart language. Many mandarin speakers come to Hong Kong to study, so having your team here for the summer to spend time on campuses is so helpful for our team to make the connections we’re praying for. Additionally, we hope and pray this summer gives you a chance to better understand life and ministry overseas, and we look forward to investing in you and spending time together over the summer. |
