FOR ALL ASSIGNMENTS, your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams, learning the skills you need to carry out your assignment. You will then travel to the field to spend your summer carrying out the task you've prepared for. At the end of the summer, travel back to a joint debrief, sharing all that God has done. It is required that all participants attend orientation & debrief.

Field cost: $3613 plus round trip airfare, immunizations, required travel insurance, passport & visa costs, etc. Taiwan is known for its world-class technology, incredible food, vibrant night markets, and, of course, bubble milk tea. Yet beneath its modern culture is a nation where fewer than 4% of people profess faith in Christ, making it one of the least-reached places in East Asia. Spend your summer building genuine relationships and creating opportunities to share the hope of the gospel with people who may have never had a Christian friend. You’ll engage people where they naturally gather—on university campuses, through late-night sports, coffee meetups, English conversations, social events, and trips to the night market. These everyday moments open the door to meaningful conversations about life, faith, and Jesus. You’ll be equipped and encouraged throughout the summer as you grow in evangelism, cross-cultural ministry, and your walk with Christ. If you’re ready to step outside your comfort zone and intentionally invest in others, this is an opportunity to see God at work while being transformed yourself. |
