American Samoa is a small island 800 miles east of Fiji in the Pacific Ocean. Due to being such a small island, hurricanes and tropical storms pose great threats to residents. Spiritually, there are many Christians in American Samoa. As is the case with many "Christianized countries," there is a risk for believers to become culturally Christian, and not have a relationship with Christ. Prayer points: - Pray for believers to grow in knowledge and love for Christ, and to truly reach everyone on the island with the Good News. - Pray for weather-related threats to human safety. - Pray for churches and leaders to be active in evangelism and discipleship.
