Vietnam is a very spiritually dark place because of communism, Buddhism, and ancestor-worship. Despite these obstacles, the Lord is drawing many Vietnamese to Himself, and many are coming to faith. In some cases, new followers of Christ are persecuted by their family. Prayer points: - Pray that the Lord will draw more and more Vietnamese to Himself. - Pray for Vietnamese believers to be missionaries to their own people, and live as ambassadors for Christ. - Pray that the Gospel will go to the rural villages, and every person in the country will hear the Good News. - Pray that God will break down the strongholds of Buddhism and ancestor-worship. - Pray that believers will stand strong in the face of oppression and opposition.
