Wally Bryson, our Campus and Church Connector, joined the Nehemiah Teams/Project 52 staff in the fall of 2014. He has been in ministry since becoming the part-time Church Administrator at Rainsville First Baptist Church in 2012. Wally also served as the Baptist Campus Minister at Northeast Alabama Community College in Rainsville, AL.
Since 2015, Wally has served as the Sports, Missions, and Outreach Director at Central Baptist Church in Douglasville, GA. Prior to being called into full-time Christian Service, Wally was in private business and worked for several large corporations in the Insurance industry.
Wally’s education includes a Bachelors in Business Administration from Georgia Southern. He is presently pursuing a Master’s Degree from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Wally was born in Rome, Georgia and grew up in Blue Ridge, Georgia. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior on a mission trip in New Orleans in 1973. He and his wife, Kelly, have two children: Will, a recent graduate of Auburn University and Tucker is a student at Alexander High School. Wally has always been very passionate concerning discipleship of teens and college students. After a few years volunteering for NT, it was evident to he and Kelly that the Lord was calling them to a bigger role in this ministry and “reaching every nation!”
