NT4 Teens: Philippines

A one-month mission summer opportunity for 14-17 year olds. On a NT4Teens trip you will be challenged to grow in your relationship with the Lord. Every day, you will have time to read your Bible and pray. You will also meet with your team daily to read short biographical sketches of missionary heroes of the past. In this one month, you will memorize 12 Bible verses that will help you on your mission and throughout your life. On a NT4Teen trip you will come to know the needs of the world and how your life can make a difference. Finally, during this one month, you will be challenged to go, not only for one month but for your whole life. NT4Teens is not your typical youth mission trip: close (going to another nearby country not because of the need but for the experience), cheap (not costing very much because it is close) and comfortable (sometimes, youth mission trips can be more like tourism with a little ministry).
​NT4Teens summer trips will be fun, but there will be strategic ministry taking place and there will be many times you will be pushed out of your comfort zone.

​The Philippine tourism slogan is “It's more fun in the Philippines,” so for sure, while you work & minister, you will have fun getting to know Filipinos!

The Philippines is still a harvest field so come help us harvest in these areas. The Philippines is also becoming a harvest force. Through your ministry, you will help encourage the local churches in making disciples and becoming better senders. 
For each project, students & leaders will be divided into separate ministry teams of 4-5. For each group of 5 students (ages 14-17), there will be at least 1 adult leader. Adults leaders may be from the student's church or they may be recruited from former Nehemiah Teams participants.
After teams are formed, adult leaders will complete pre-field leader training (via email/on-line). All participants will have preparation assignments before attending orientation at the Nehemiah Teams Training Center on June 4-8 in Mentone, Alabama. Following orientation, teams will be taken directly to the Birmingham airport from orientation to begin their travel to their final destination. At the end of the trip, participants will have an on-field debrief, returning directly to their homes from the Philippines.

​After participants have been approved, additional information including specific information regarding travel, packing lists, payment and required travel insurance will be sent via email. Applicants ages 18-20 will not be accepted but will be asked to apply instead for a full summer Nehemiah Teams project.
