North Korea is a brutal country to live in. For much of the population, starvation is a constant, ever-present danger, as is being convicted and tortured for a crime against the regime. Some North Koreans attempt to escape into the surrounding countries, but not everyone can take the risk. North Korean Christians are viciously persecuted, and many are killed for their faith. In spite of this, the Christian population is growing, much like the early church did in the face of opposition. Prayer points: - Pray for North Koreans to come to faith in Christ, and be willing to sacrifice everything for Him. - Pray for North Korean believers to stand strong in the face of danger, imprisonment, and even death. - Pray that people will have their daily needs met. - Pray for those who flee North Korea, that they would be kept safe on their journey, and find refuge in the surrounding countries. - Pray that North Koreans would see that only in Christ can true freedom be found.
