FOR ALL ASSIGNMENTS, your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams, learning the skills you need to carry out your assignment. You will then travel to the field to spend your summer carrying out the task you've prepared for. At the end of the summer, travel back to a joint debrief, sharing all that God has done. It is required that all participants attend orientation & debrief.

PHILIPPINE SUMMER

Field cost: $1182 plus roundtrip airfare, passport costs, immunizations, required travel insurance, etc. Multiple teams are needed in the Philippines! Cross land & sea to share the Gospel in villages where spiritual darkness abounds. The people have been led astray by the Enemies lies & it's time they knew the truth of the Gospel & the Savior that came for them. In areas where the Gospel has been skewed & distorted and is now nearly unrecognizable, you will be sharing Truth with many who have never heard it told correctly. Work alongside local believers to share Biblical truth with people who may have never owned a Bible or read it for themselves. With the goal of making disciples & the hopes of planting a church, you will be a part of a greater team effort to reach the lost by going into less-accessible areas via motorbike, boat & on foot. Field cost: $1341 plus round trip airfare, passport costs, immunizations, required travel insurance, etc. In partnership with other Philippine teams, spend your summer sharing what God is doing through their daily ministries. You'll travel between the teams, sharing their daily lives & stories through blog posts & capturing media clips. You'll be involved in evangelism... always ready to share THE story with someone who hasn't heard. PHILIPPINE AG (BICOL)60391 Team of 6
Field cost: $1540 plus round trip airfare, passport costs, immunizations, required travel insurance, etc. Work hard to produce a harvest! This is a motto of many farmers... as a "mission farmer" this summer, you'll be planting more than just physical seeds! Spend your days working on a research/demonstration farm in the tribal areas of the Philippines. While working alongside national and tribal partners, you'll learn practical ways to help develop the countryside through simple yet practical farming techniques. Your weekends will be spent in local communities, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ... working alongside the local church and tribal missionaries through training in evangelism & missions. EVANGELISM TEAM (BICOL)60393 Team of 4

Cross land and sea to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in villages where many people have had little opportunity to hear and understand biblical truth. Work alongside local believers to share God’s Word with people who may have never owned a Bible or studied it for themselves. You’ll gain hands-on experience in evangelism, discipleship, and cross-cultural ministry while serving alongside Filipino believers who are passionate about reaching their communities. Live out of your bag, wash clothes by hand, and sleep wherever a door is opened. With the goal of making disciples and helping establish thriving local churches, you will be part of a greater team effort to reach less-accessible communities by motorbike, tricycle, boat, or on foot. This is a motto of many farmers... as a "mission farmer" this summer, you'll be planting more than just physical seeds! You’ll travel to the island of Cebu for your summer’s ministry. Spend your summer working on a training/demonstration farm in the Central Philippines. While working alongside national partners, you'll learn practical ways to help develop the countryside through simple yet practical farming techniques. Your afternoons, evenings and weekends will be spent in local communities, playing basketball, pickleball, and going house to house sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. You’ll working alongside the local church in evangelism and missions, with opportunities to share God’s Word during worship time, gatherings, and youth fellowships. |
