FOR ALL ASSIGNMENTS, your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams, learning the skills you need to carry out your assignment. You will then travel to the field to spend your summer carrying out the task you've prepared for. At the end of the summer, travel back to a joint debrief, sharing all that God has done. It is required that all participants attend orientation & debrief.

By teaching very simple English words & phrases to children & youth you are helping with their education while opening doors to engage their families with the Gospel. Laptop League

Field cost: $1550 plus round trip airfare, immunizations, required travel insurance, passport & visa costs Teach basic computer skills to kids in ministry's outreach programs. Open doors to local families by offering programs to help their children's education. Use technology to share God's love this summer! If you can use MS Word & Powerpoint, we need your help. We reach families in the town by offering programs to help their children's education which allows us to build relationships with the parents. The Gospel can then be shared with the entire family. Team will be working directly with a national pastor. Summer Sports

Field cost: $1550 plus round trip airfare, immunizations, required travel insurance, passport & visa costs Soccer, badminton & volleyball players needed to use their skills to develop relationships in local communities. Your "goal"... use your personal testimony to communicate the Gospel through relationships. Guys, use your soccer skills to open doors with kids, teens & young adults. Girls, use your love of playing badminton & volleyball to open doors with the female population. You don't have to be a pro, just have fun & be willing to take initiative in building friendships so that you can share about Christ. Team will be working directly with a national pastor. Field cost: $1550 plus round trip airfare, immunizations, required travel insurance, passport & visa costs Use your musical skills to teach young people to play guitar, keyboard, flute, drums & percussion. Help local believers develop music teams for worship. Local young people have little to no access in musical training. Offer tutoring for children in the community allowing the local ministry to develop relationships with the families. Team will be working directly with a national pastor. Local supervisor specifically asks for students who can offer beginning instruction/tutoring in piano, guitar, drums/cajon and voice. |
