FOR ALL ASSIGNMENTS, your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams, learning the skills you need to carry out your assignment. You will then travel to the field to spend your summer carrying out the task you've prepared for. At the end of the summer, travel back to a joint debrief, sharing all that God has done. It is required that all participants attend orientation & debrief.

MULTINATIONAL ADVANCE: SOUTH ASIA

26887  Team of 4
Field cost: $1928 plus round trip airfare, required travel insurance, visa & passport costs, etc.
The strongest power of the gospel is the Kinship of Jesus' love beyond every barrier between humans. Students will experience multi-cultural missions in South Korea and South Asia. They will teach English to children and teenagers in Korea for the first month and then move to South Asia with their Korean teammates. They will be involved in one-on-one evangelism & various ministries which may include: teaching English and Korean, worship dances, and playing musical instruments. It would be helpful if the students have training/experience teaching English.
Team members must commit to the entire program from orientation through debrief. Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will then fly to Korea for your first month of ministry with your Korean teammates. After this first month of ministry, you will travel to South Asia for your next month of ministry where you will be supervised by Korean missionaries. Following your ministry time in South Asia, you will return to the US for a joint Nehemiah Teams debrief... sharing all God has done over the summer.
*Team is in partnership with South Korean BSU ministry & SK FMB
