FOR ALL ASSIGNMENTS, your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams, learning the skills you need to carry out your assignment. You will then travel to the field to spend your summer carrying out the task you've prepared for. At the end of the summer, travel back to a joint debrief, sharing all that God has done. It is required that all participants attend orientation & debrief.

Field cost: $2950 plus roundtrip travel, passport costs, required travel insurance, immunizations, etc. Come ready to live among the locals as you will be engaging the greatest concentration of lostness on the planet. You will live with national believers and walk alongside them training existing believers in the surrounds villages. You will be equipping nationals to engage unreached places, share the gospel, be disciples who make disciples, form healthy churches, and help to raise up local leaders. Your role will be to train, encourage, model, and equip these believers so that one day we will see local ownership for every people and place in South Asia. Are you ready to join us? The reality is that many places in South Asia, Jesus’ name is not being made great. There are people and places that have yet to hear the good news of Jesus in our area. The work is plentiful! Come join us this summer to see the gospel go forward among all people. This summer will be filled with entering new places, sharing the gospel, discipling, starting churches, and developing leaders! It would be considered the 3rd largest country in the world and adds almost 20,000 people per day. At that rate to reach 2% of the population that would mean 16 churches would need to be planted per day! In this area of South Asia we have 194 remaining Unreached Unengaged People Group's (UUPGs) who remain unreached. Many who have never heard the name of Jesus! Field cost: $3250 plus roundtrip travel, passport costs, required travel insurance, immunizations, etc. Millions of people live in the fields of India who belong to unreached and unengaged people groups (UUPGs). There are numerous reasons for why the lost peoples of this place have not yet been engaged and reached. The oppressive heat lingers and exceeds 100° for a large part of each year. The terrain can make travel to villages very difficult, especially during themonsoon season. World religions, predominantly Hinduism, have been used by the enemy for thousands of years to blind the minds of unbelievers. Though these barriers can be exceedingly difficult and seem insurmountable, these fields are ripe for harvest and the harvest is plentiful! The IMB team focusing on the UUPGs in this area is in need of laborers who are willing to cross barriers such as these in order to engage the harvest. Come, be equipped to labor, do ethnographic study, work to locate, catalytically engage and strengthen, and leave behind a national team of laborers who take up ownership of the core missionary task among UUPGs long after you are gone. |
