FOR ALL ASSIGNMENTS, your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams, learning the skills you need to carry out your assignment. You will then travel to the field to spend your summer carrying out the task you've prepared for. At the end of the summer, travel back to a joint debrief, sharing all that God has done. It is required that all participants attend orientation & debrief.

Field cost: $1850 plus round trip airfare, immunizations, required travel insurance, passport & visa costs. Multiple teams are needed in the South Pacific! Working alongside national Baptist believers, be a part of encouraging established churches & new church starts across this vast region. Be a learner & a partner to what God is already doing in these beautiful islands. Approved students will be divided into ministry teams to go to like Fiji or Guam. You will make life long friends with the friendly & hospitable people on these tropical islands. Use your interest in music, sports, and children & youth ministry to open doors to homes & hearts with the goal of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. The gospel came to this vast region over 200 years ago, but there are still pockets of lostness. You will travel by planes and boats to help us find and verify if specific people groups still need the gospel. This will truly be a great adventure…with eternal purpose! The gospel came to this vast region over 200 years ago, but there are still pockets of lostness. Your team of 2 guys will travel by planes and boats to help find & verify if specific people groups still need the gospel. Specifically you will be tasked with finding and researching the deaf peoples of these areas. Knowing American Sign Language is preferred but not required. This will truly be a great adventure…with eternal purpose! |
